Arty Party

I worked day and night all last week to finish my multi-canvas pieces for the upcoming Arty Party that Anne Sconberg and Mark Henderson is putting on next weekend. Looking forward to seeing what reactions are received by my layers and layers of paint I built to create my vision.

When Times Converge reception...

Here's a video of the current show's reception that was held Friday, April 10th. It was a great turn out! If you haven't seen the show, please make sure you try to before it ends on April 30th. The artist plan to be there this Sunday, April 26 during the Japantown's Nikkei Matsuri festival.

Hi everyone. Just a quick reminder this opening is tomorrow night. I’ve been watching the progress of the 2 artists doing this installation and it’s going to be a cool show. Below is a short description. Please pass along to your friends and family!

“When Times Converge” features two artists, Gregory Ito and Sarah Edwards, who live and work in the Bay Area. This show is designed to create a dialogue between nature and culture using a combination of visual imagery, expressed through conventional and contemporary means of presentation. Fueled by the aesthetics of man made monuments and sacred spaces, “When Times Converge” depicts a relationship made through the junction of ancient ideals, and current ways of creation seen today. Through the use of constructed space and installation, viewers are able to be trans-located into new ways of perceiving when addressing the large-scale works presented.
